Access Statement

Furzen Hill Cottage is the largest of our cottages and is adjoined to the farmhouse. It was converted from the original stables many years ago. There are three bedrooms, one has a double bed, one has twin beds and an ensuite shower room and the third has two single beds.

There is a large bathroom with an old fashioned roll top bath and a separate walk in shower. The beam on the landing is low, so tall people please duck! The stairs are carpeted open tread with a sturdy hand rail on the left.

Downstairs there is a spacious living room with two settees and a rocking chair. The dining table will comfortably seat six people. Just off the hall there is a cloakroom with toilet and washbasin. The kitchen has modern units and is equipped with electric cooker, washing machine, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There are electric heaters in all rooms. TV and DVD player for guest use.

Unfortunately Furzen Hill is not suitable for most disabled people although there are no steps at either the front or back doors.
