welcome to Furzen Hill Farm »

Furzen Hill Farm is a working arable farm which has been farmed by our family since 1939. The cottages have been converted from the 17th Century farm buildings and are grouped around the farmyard.

They all share the large farmhouse garden, tennis court and outdoor heated swimming pool. Families are especially welcome but children must be supervised around the farm yard at all times.

We are ideally situated in the centre of England for visiting Stratford upon Avon, Warwick and the National Agricultural Centre at Stoneleigh. The national Exhibition Centre is also within easy reach. There are numerous National Trust properties close by. Well behaved dogs are allowed by prior arrangement.

Furzen Hill Cottage

The cottage is part of Furzen Hill Farmhouse but is completely self contained. The accommodation consists of a kitchen with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washer dryer, dish washer, microwave and radio.

There is a hall, cloakroom and large living room downstairs and three bedrooms (1 double, 2 twin), one en-suite and separate bathroom upstairs. TV for guest use.

Access Statement

Furzen Hill Farm Cottages are all situated on our arable working farm. They are all in the farmyard and there is ample parking space adjacent to each cottage. The farmhouse is surrounded by a large lawned garden which is shared by all our guests. Dairy Cottage has its own small, enclosed garden which is ideal for small children. The main garden, although fenced Is not child proof.

There is a hard tennis court for guests to use. We also have a outdoor heated swimming pool which guests may use providing it is in working order. Parents are strictly responsible for their own children. Each cottage has its own garden furniture and guests may bring their own BBQ's if they should wish to. Each cottage has a TV and DVD; well behaved dogs are welcomed by prior arrangement.

ALL COTTAGES ARE NON-SMOKING

Furzen Hill Cottage is the largest of our cottages and is adjoined to the farmhouse. It was converted from the original stables many years ago. There are three bedrooms, one has a double bed, one has twin beds and an ensuite shower room and the third has two single beds.

There is a large bathroom with an old fashioned roll top bath and a separate walk in shower. The beam on the landing is low, so tall people please duck! The stairs are carpeted open tread with a sturdy hand rail on the left.

Downstairs there is a spacious living room with two settees and a rocking chair. The dining table will comfortably seat six people. Just off the hall there is a cloakroom with toilet and washbasin. The kitchen has modern units and is equipped with electric cooker, washer drier, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There are electric heaters in all rooms.

Unfortunately Furzen Hill is not suitable for most disabled people although there are no steps at either the front or back doors
